The 2008 Coober Pedy Gem Trade Show will take place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July 2008 at the Greek Orthodox Community Hall. The Gem Trade Show has been rescheduled to be in line with other Gem Shows around Australia. The event follows the success of the inaugural event held in 2007 where 17 exhibitors showcased their merchandise. With over 400 paying delegates in 2007, it provides the ideal foundation for expanding the show in 2008. The 2008 Coober Pedy Gem Trade Show will include 20 booths and numerous stalls and outdoor ‘tailgaters’.

The Gem Trade Show provides the opportunity for miners, wholesalers and retailers from around Australia and the World to showcase their opal and wares to the industry and the broader public.

Open from 10am to 6pm on both days, the Gem Trade Show is a great opportunity to buy opal in the rough, cut or polished form.
