The 2011 Coober Pedy Gem Trade Show, specialising in rough and cut Opal, will be held on the 23rd and 24th of April 2011. The trade show will coincide with the Opal Festival, offering visitors a vast array of entertainment options over the Easter long weekend.

The Greek Orthodox Hall will once again host the Gem Trade Show providing a professional air-conditioned environment for the numerous local and national exhibitors who will be able to showcase high quality opals at trade prices to international and domestic buyers.

Following the Chairman of the Gem Trade Show Committee's successful trip as part of South Australia's Trade Mission to the World Expo held recently in Shanghai China, the Gem Trade Show Committee has strengthened its links with Chinese Opal buyers.

The 2010 Gem Trade Show received considerable interest in China with feature articles appearing in two newspapers, the Shandong News on Gem and Jade; and Te Bie Bao Dao.

The Coober Pedy Gem Trade Show continues to strengthen its reputation as Australia's preeminent Opal Trade Show and to encourage more exhibitors at the 2011 show we have kept the price of Exhibitor Booths at 2010 levels.

We will also be continuing the tradition of holding a Business Dinner prior to the show so that exhibitors and buyers can meet in a relaxed environment with the aim of establishing and strengthening business networks.
